Description
Glass fitting microchip door for installation into double glazing up to 30mm thick.
The easy-to-use, rotary 4-Way lock gives complete control over your cat's access to and from the house. The streamlined design of the Cat Mate microchip cat door maximises entrance opening space, providing easy, stress-free access for your cat. The large 144mm (W) x 150mm (H) opening is fitted with a transparent flap, which is preferred by most cats and is made from super-tough polymer.
The brush-sealed flap with magnetic closure ensures a draft-proof and weatherproof seal. The microchip door is self-lining to 85mm thick, ideal for fitting to all doors, including metal ones.
This door has been designed to provide the ultimate solution for selective entry control, operated by your cat's unique, implanted identification microchip. This eliminates the stress and frustration caused by the unwelcome intrusion of neighbouring cats, providing a safe and secure environment for your cat. The door is straightforward to program, and up to 30 cats can be registered. For cats without an implanted microchip, a unique Cat Mate I.D. The disc can be attached to your cat's collar (available separately).
Please note that the read range on this unit may be affected by the material the cat flap is fitted into, such as metal. Also, if the door panel is reinforced with metal, the range of the chip scanner will be affected. To resolve this, you can fit the flap using the Petmate glass/wall adaptor. OR you can buy a replacement door panel, available in 20mm, 24mm & 28mm, from our website. Our replacement panels do not contain any metal.
The cat flap can also be easily fitted to walls or glass panels with an adapter kit (available separately).
For wall thicknesses over 85mm, a Cat Mate Elite Wall Liner (PM308W) will be required for each additional 50mm, and a Cat Flap Adapter Kit (PM361) (available separately) will also be needed.
The Cat Mate door is battery-powered and provides approximately 12 months of operation from 4 AA batteries (not included).
The LED indicator flashes with a short pulse every 30 seconds when the batteries require replacement.
